Red Wedge ‘Days Like These’ featuring Billy Bragg, Lloyd Cole, Communards, Junior, Phill Jupitus, Madness, Johnny Marr, Tom Robinson, Paul Weller and many more.  

‘Days Like These’ documents the 1986 Red Wedge tour when chart topping popstars joined forces on stages across the UK in an attempt to politicise young people and encourage them to vote against Margret Thatcher in the 1887 general election.  Filmmakers from five cities had All Access for seven days – on the tour coach, in dressing rooms and hotel rooms – capturing a sensational line up performing hits and rousing ensemble encores including Curtis Mayfield’s ‘Move On Up’ and Jimmy Cliff’s ‘Many Rivers To Cross’.

This is a rare screening of the 40 minute film which is has not been shown for over 30 years.
