As summer approaches, Steve kicks off Reading Week, with listeners hearing from a wide range of authors about their new publications.

Today, Steve is joined by Daniel Rachel who talks all about his current book, The Lost Beatles Album, and the upcoming release of Too Much Too Young: the Story of 2 Tone Records. Daniel is a musician turned award-winning author. He was the lead singer in Rachels Basement and released two solo albums, A Simple Twist of Folk and A Taste of Money.

His previous books include Isle of Noises: Conversations with Great British Songwriters (a Guardian and NME Book of the Year) and Walls Come Tumbling Down: the music and politics of Rock Against Racism.
